Wahoo Fishing Charters is a family-run Sydney charter business, owned and operated by champion angler George Aslanian. For more than 30 years we have been putting people onto fish off Sydney, from the calm of the harbour to the offshore grounds out through the Heads. We are based in Greystanes in western Sydney and depart on Sydney Harbour.
We keep it personal, with two well-rigged boats and small groups of one to twelve anglers, so you get room to fish and a crew that has time for you. Every charter comes with complimentary top-of-range Shimano gear and bait, gourmet catering is available on request, and no experience is needed. There is no online booking to wrestle with, just tell us what you are after and we will match you to the right boat and trip.
Meet skipper George Aslanian
George owns and operates Wahoo Charters with more than 30 years of fishing experience. His passion started on Botany Bay chasing Marlin and Yellowfin Tuna, and he has since spent over 18 years in the fishing charter industry, sharing his home waters with anglers from all over.
A genuine champion angler, George reads Sydney reefs, wrecks, washes and currents like few others, and he loves nothing more than putting a first-timer onto the fish of their life. He and the crew set you over the fish, coach you through the technique and talk you through the fight. When he says he will put you on them, 40 five-star Google reviews back him up.
