A quick look at how the Wahoo Fishing Charters website was rebuilt, and why it works the way it does.
Welcome to the story behind this website. We reckon a good website should do its job quietly: load fast, be easy to use, and help you find exactly what you need. Here is a little about how this one came together.

Drag the handle to compare the old website with the redesign.
Wahoo Fishing Charters has been putting people onto fish off Sydney for more than 30 years, but our old website was starting to show its age. It was slow, fiddly on a phone and hard to keep up to date, and it never really did justice to the charters or made it easy to get in touch. So we rebuilt it from the ground up.
The new site is faster, cleaner and built mobile-first, because that is where most of our guests find us. Every charter type now has its own page, the fish species and pricing are far clearer, and getting a quote is as simple as tapping Enquire. It looks the part, and just as importantly, it actually works.
“I’m a fisherman, not a web person, but the new site finally feels like us. It looks sharp, it’s dead easy to use, and we’re getting more enquiries than ever. Best of all, I never have to fight with it.”
A good charter website is about far more than looking nice. Behind the scenes, this one was built to load quickly, to be accessible to everyone, and to be easy for search engines to understand, so the people searching for a Sydney fishing charter can actually find us. The layout adapts to any screen, the content is structured for clarity, and every page is geared toward one simple goal: getting you out on the water.
The redesign was designed and built by Jimmyweb, a website design agency in Sydney. If you like how this site looks and works, and you are after something similar for your own business, they are well worth a chat. We could not be happier with the result.
