George will do everything to get you on the fish constantly trying to change locations and techniques to get the fish to bite I highly recommend wahoo charters
Unfortunately, our experience on this fishing charter was quite disappointing. While the day could have been a lot of fun, George, our guide, spent most of the trip on his phone dealing with personal issues related to his car and such. This felt unprofessional and left us feeling like an afterthought. He also seemed to be in a bad mood and was short and unfriendly throughout the trip.
As new fishers, we were excited to learn and have a great experience, but George's frustration when we didn’t do things perfectly made us feel unwelcome. His attitude seemed like someone who’s been doing this too long and lost their passion for sharing the joy of fishing with others
On top of that, the boat felt cramped, and the fishing itself was lackluster – we only caught two or three fish barely big enough to keep, and George wasn’t even able to catch one squid. While I’d be open to trying another charter in the future, I would strongly recommend going with a different guide. Overall, this trip didn’t live up to expectations.
George's know how had us constantly moving to where the fish were biting !!!

Do I need any fishing experience?
None at all. George and the crew coach you through every catch, so complete beginners and kids are just as welcome as seasoned anglers.
What's included in the price?
All rods, reels, bait and tackle are supplied, top-of-the-range Shimano gear. Gourmet catering is available on request. Fuel is included, and there are onboard restroom facilities.
What should I bring, and can I bring food and drinks?
Bring sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and a camera, and wear comfortable layered clothing with non-slip shoes. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks, and catering is available on request. Alcohol is fine, enjoyed responsibly.
Where do we depart from?
Our charters run out of Sydney Harbour. Most trips depart from the Harbour, and we keep pick-ups flexible , we can arrange to collect your group and drop you back at almost any wharf or jetty around Sydney Harbour. Just tell us your preferred spot when you enquire and we will sort out the details.
How long are the trips?
Half-day charters run 6:30am to 1:00pm or 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Full-day game fishing runs 7:00am to 5:00pm.
How many people can come along?
Anywhere from 1 to 12 anglers across the two boats. On Point takes up to 4, and Allie Hunter up to 8 depending on the trip type.
What's your cancellation and weather policy?
A 50% fee applies for cancellations within 21 days of the charter, and 100% within 14 days. If conditions are unsafe to head out, we’ll reschedule your trip or refund you.
How do I book?
Booking is enquiry-based, with no online payment. Send us your preferred date, group size and trip type, and we’ll match you to the right boat and get straight back to you.
